Precision maintenance for the clarinet
The quiet mechanics of a clarinet rely on consistent friction and seal. This kit addresses the small points of contact that define your tone, ensuring every joint closes with intention rather than chance.
Designed for players who maintain their own instruments, this set provides the specific materials needed to restore smooth operation. It suits both students and professionals seeking reliable, tactile control over their sound.
02MATERIALS
Cork and sheep casing in tandem
The ten cork rings are cut from fine-grained material, displaying the characteristic small spots of natural cork. Their inherent elasticity allows them to compress and decompress without losing shape, creating a tight seal against the wood. The seventeen pads are formed from sheep casing, a traditional choice for clarinet repair that offers a distinct texture and durability compared to synthetic alternatives.
04FIT
Standard dimensions for broad compatibility
Each cork ring measures 81 mm in length, 11 mm in width and 2 mm in thickness. These proportions align with the specifications of most standard clarinets, making the kit a practical solution for general maintenance. The compact size of the individual pieces means they can be stored easily in a case or toolkit, ready for quick adjustments before a performance or practice session.
