Ten gates for pure honey
The quiet guardian of the upper hive, this perforated grill sits between the brood chamber and the honey supers. It allows worker bees to pass freely while holding the queen below, protecting the purity of the harvest.
Designed for beekeepers who value extractable honey, these ten durable units offer a flexible, corrosion-proof solution for maintaining order within the colony.
The Plastic Queen Excluder by Rooster Farms, is a perforated grill, is intended to keep the queen from laying eggs in the honey supers.
10x Plastic Queen Bee Excluder Suitable for 8 Frame Bee Hive.
02MATERIALS
Flexible plastic built for longevity
Crafted from robust white plastic, each excluder resists corrosion and maintains its shape over time. The material is flexible enough to handle the rigours of seasonal maintenance without becoming brittle, ensuring reliable performance year after year.
FUNCTION
Separating brood from honey stores
By physically blocking the queen’s path upwards, the perforated design keeps her eggs out of the honey supers. This separation allows for cleaner extraction and prevents the mixing of brood cells with the sweet yield, a critical step for professional-grade honey production.
