01COMPUTER CABLES & ADAPTERS

Extended Reach for Retro Console Play

The classic silhouette of the Sega Mega Drive controller is iconic, yet its short lead can tether you to the immediate vicinity of the console. This extension cable extends that reach, allowing you to settle comfortably on the sofa or armchair without compromising your connection.

Designed specifically for the 9-pin interface of the Mega Drive and Genesis systems, this cable provides the freedom to move slightly away from the unit while maintaining a stable link. It suits any enthusiast who values comfort during long gaming sessions.

1 X Extension Cable (No retail package)

Please allow a 1-3 cm difference due to manual measurements. Please note that a slight colour difference should be acceptable due to the light and screen.

02MATERIALS

Durable PVC and Nickel-Plated Metal

Constructed from robust PVC, the cable resists the wear and tear of frequent handling. The connectors feature a nickel plating that protects the metal contacts from oxidation, ensuring a reliable handshake between the controller and the console port. The matte black finish presents a clean, professional aesthetic that blends seamlessly with vintage hardware.

04COMPATIBILITY

Precise Fit for 9-Pin Ports

This accessory is tailored exclusively for the Sega Mega Drive and its international counterpart, the Genesis. The 9-pin configuration ensures a snug fit into the controller port, preventing loose connections that can interrupt a game. Note that the package contains only the extension cable itself; your original game controllers remain the primary input devices, now simply given more room to operate.
